A fire weather watch has been issued for Saturday evening through Sunday afternoon in the fire area. Evacuation orders remain in place for Concow, Magalia, Paradise, Centerville, Butte Creek Canyon, Honey Run, Cherokee, Pulga, Butte Valley, Paradise Pines, Yankee Hill, Stirling City, Berry Creek, and Helltown. Evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted for Forest Ranch and Humbug areas. Major road closures in the area include Hwy 99, Hwy 70, Hwy 149, Hwy 162, and portions of Hwy 32 and the Skyway. Threats continue for communications sites and PG&E infrastructure with Paradise, Centerville, and Big Bend substations off line. Lake Oroville and Concow watersheds are threatened. CA-BTU Camp Fire: 130,000 acres, brush and timber, 35% contained. Fire activity was moderate throughout the day with uphill runs flanking and torching observed. Critically dry fuels, diurnal gusty canyon winds and record high ERCs are contributing to active fire behavior. The fire is currently burning in the foot print of the Poe Fire on Federal DPA. Evacuation orders remain for Paradise, Magalia, Stirling City, Centerville, Pentz, Pulga, Concow, Yankee Hill, Butte Creek, Brush Creek and numerous residences within the fire area. Evacuation Warnings have been issued for residents in the area of Hwy 32 from Nopel Ave. to the Plumas County line. Multiple road closures including portions of Hwy 99, Hwy 70, Hwy 32, Hwy 149, Skyway Rd and numerous roads in the fire area. Union Pacific Railways, DWR Diversion Dam, Sawmill Peak Lookout, Flea Mountain Lookout, Butte College, Butte Fire Center, USFS facilities and Feather River Hospital remain threatened. Major infrastructure effecting power, water systems and emergency and public communications are threatened. 7,600 single residences, 95 multiple residences, 3 mixed commercial residential, 260 non-residential and 859 other minor structures destroyed. 48 fatalities have been confirmed. CA-HIA Signboard Fire: 19 acres, timber 0% contained. The fire is located on Tish Tang Ridge 6 miles from Hoopa on the Hoopa Indian Reservation and the Six Rivers National Forest. Fire started at 0800 and has a slow rate of spread. Current weather observations are 47 degrees, 51% RH, winds are NW at 3 MPH with gusts to 5 MPH. No threats reported. Map

Evacuation Warnings have been issued for Thermalito-Hwy 99 East to Highway 70 from Hwy 162 north to Hwy 149. An estimated 52,000 civilians have been evacuated. Multiple road closures are in place including Highway 70, Sky way, Highway 191, and Pentz Road. Structures continue to remain threatened. Feather River Hospital has sustained severe damage and other structures have been lost, PG&E Pulga and Cresta Powerhouses, Kv powerlines, multiple communications towers, Butte College, Plumas National Forest, Union Pacific Rail Road, USFS fire stations, private timberlands, PG&E gas lines, Lake Oroville watershed, Paradise Municipal water supply and other infrastructure remain threatened. National Weather Service-Eureka has issued a Red Flag Warning for Mendocino N.F/E Mendocino Unit-Trinity areas. The warning is in effect from Saturday evening through early Monday morning for gusty easterly winds combined with critically low relative humidity and poor overnight RH recovery. CA-NOD Horn Fire: 90 acres, grass and brush, 0% contained. Fire is located Horn Road X Mail Route Road, 9 miles SE of Termo. Fire is burning at a moderate rate of spread. One out building has been destroyed. Fire is burning on both sides of Horn Road. Map

Three private inholdings that lie in the National Forest lands near South Fork Indian Creek remain under an Evacuation Warning. Some roads on the Klamath NF are to longer under a road closure. The fire has burned approximately 33,471 acres on the Klamath National Forest and 192 acres on the Six Rivers National Forest.

CA-SHF Delta Fire: 63,293 acres, grass, brush, timber, 97% contained. Today fire behavior was minimal. The threat to structures and the winery has been mitigated. Yesterday at the end of shift the TFR was lifted.

CA-LNF Wilson Fire: 250 acres, burning in timber, 0% contained. Fire is located in the Wilson Lake area 10 miles NW of Chester. Evacuations are currently in progress for the Feather River Rod and Gun Club. Structures are currently threatened.

Evacuation orders have been lifted for: Delta Rd, La Moine Rd, Delta School Rd, Pollard Flat Area, Slate Creek Rd, Little Slate Creek Rd, Eagles Roost Rd, Eviesbrood Rd, and Coyote Pass Rd. Threat to the communities include Lakehead, Pollock, Delta, Vollmers, Dog Creek, Lamoine, Pollard Flat, Sims and Castella. A single, inside lane of Interstate 5 was opened in both directions today. The railway has been re-opened to freight trains only. Power infrastructure, Union Pacific Railway, public water supply, T&E species habitat, timber and recreational sites as well as communications infrastructure are threatened. Multiple commercial vehicles and several structures have been damaged or destroyed. Damage assessment is ongoing and further structure loss will be reported when confirmed. A forest closure is in effect for the fire area, including the Pacific Crest Trail. Transition of command took place this morning to CIIMT 4 (Kurth) and Cal Fire (Truax).

Repopulation to the Lake Valley area occurred today, to include the re-opening of Forest Road 19 and the I-80 Yuba Gap off ramp, as well as PG&E and private camp sites. There is a Red Flag Warning in effect for dry, gusty winds from 1 PM Tuesday to 11 PM Wednesday. Infrastructure to I-80 and Union Pacific Railway remain threatened. The Wild and Scenic American River, private timber lands, transportation infrastructure, railway, power and communication infrastructure, gas lines and cultural sites are threatened.

CA-SHF Hirz Fire: 46,142 acres grass, brush, timber, 70% contained. Mostly low intensity surface fire was observed under poor overnight relative humidity recovery. The McCloud River Club remains under mandatory evacuations. Mandatory Evacuation orders remain along County Road 84 and 85 from Hwy 299 to the fires edge and for residents in the Crank Springs area. County Road 84 and 85 remain closed. Hwy 299 opened with controlled traffic. There is a continuing threat to the town of Canby. Grouse Mountain Repeater remains threatened which if damages would affect critical emergency services communications networks. Railway and power infrastructure remains threatened as well.

There is a closure threat to CA Highways 139 and 299 which are major transportation routes in the area. The communities of Canby and California Pines continue to be threatened. Fiber optic and telephone cables damaged causing potential to impact the 911 service. Numerous Native American cultural sites/heritage trail are threatened along with the Booneville Power Plant and associated infrastructure, Burlington Northern Railway and Lake County Rail lines and Sierra Pacific commercial timber holdings. Grouse Mountain Repeater site is threatened, which could impact National Flight Following, Air Guard & Tone loss. A Fire Weather Watch has been issued by NWS Medford for Tues morning through Tues evening for abundant lightning on dry fuels.

The threat continues to powerline infrastructure, timberlands both private and federal, T&E species, heritage sites of the Wintu Native American tribe, historic mining sites and varies watersheds in the burned area. BAER team specialists will assess fire conditions in the coming weeks. National Guard continues to assist in suppression repair activities. Whiskeytown Park will remain closed for the summer.

CA-MEU Mendocino Complex: 389,967 acres grass, brush, timber slash, 76% contained. The complex is comprised of both the River and Ranch Fire, with the River Fire at 100% containment. The overall complex containment percentage is based on the combined incident completed line divided by the combined perimeter. The Ranch Fire continues to burn towards the NNE. Fire activity is expected to increase in the afternoon hours after the smoke clears the area. Mandatory evacuations continue for portions of Mendocino, Lake, Colusa and Glenn counties. Threats continue to Lake Pillsbury Basin, Pine Mountain Lookout, critical wildlife habitat including the Pine Mountain project, communication and powerline infrastructure and many historical recreation sites.

OR-RSF Natchez Fire: 20,085 acres grass, brush, timber, 70% contained. Fire behavior showed moderate surface fire with backing, flanking and occasional single tree and group tree torching in areas of heavy fuels and receptive brush. Evacuation orders remain for California residents near South Fork Indian Creek and evacuations warnings continue for Sunstar, Indian Creek and unincorporated areas between Happy Camp and the National Forest boundary. A fire closure area for the Natchez Fire has been implemented on the Rogue River-Siskiyou and Klamath National Forests. Road, trail and area closures are in effect. Powerlines in the fire area remain de-energized and threatened. Unhealthy smoke conditions have existed the last 72 hours and are predicted to continue for the next 24 hour period. Australian firefighting personnel are supporting the Natchez Fire in leadership positions.

CA-HIA Mill Creek 1 Fire: 500 acres (combined), grass, brush, timber, 5% contained with an active rate of spread. Mill Creek 1 is 5 seperate fires: Mill Creek 1 - 5 acres, 100% contained; Mill Creek 2 - 5 acres, 100% contained; Mill Creek 3 - 10 acres, 5% contained; Mill Creek 4 - 10 acres, 5% contained; Mill Creek 5 – 470 acres, 0% contained. Mill Creek road is closed. Smoke is impacting the air quality in the Hoopa Valley and Orleans. Fire threatens: 150 structures in the Mill Creek/Bald Hills area along with Highway 96, harvestable Timber Reserves, Hoopa Tribal Ceremonial Ground, cultural gathering areas for acorns and other subsistence species, salmon habitat, and residential power and phone lines along Highway 96.

Spread is primarily fuels and topography driven with high potential for roll out and spot fires. 1,077 residences have been destroyed and 191 residences have been damaged; 500 outbuildings are destroyed. National Guard is assisting in the protection of the evacuated areas as well as involved in suppression activities. Infrastructure currently threatened or impacted include: Chappie Off Highway Vehicle Park (BLM); active and historic mining sites; Heritage sites of the Wintu Native American Tribe; Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) 115KV and 230 KV power lines; timberland (both private & federal). Shasta Bally repeater has limited operability due to damage from the fire. This repeater is critical to the public safety radio system. A mobile repeater is being placed on Sugarloaf. The South Fork Repeater site has sustained major damage. This site hosts the local AM/FM radio stations and local TV, including local news. Other components damaged at the site include AT&T cellular site. The National Guard is actively engaged with suppression activities. Highway 299 is open to the public during specified times; Noon - 1:30 PM with a pilot car and 6 PM - 7:30 AM with a pilot car - from the Visitor's Center to Sand House.

Evacuations are in place. Pit One Power House is threatened as well as 60kV powerlines. Highway 299 is closed from Pit River to Fall River; Glenburn Road north to Gomez Road; and South of 299 to Pit River south at Glenburn Road.

CA-WNP Carr Fire: 181,496 acres grass, oak woodland, timber, 51% contained. The Carr fire remained active. A Fuels & Fire Behavior Advisory has been issued for the incident. Low and dead fuel moistures and elevated fire danger rating values have created the potential for extreme fire behavior and rapid fire spread. Evacuation centers are open at Shasta College (48 evacuees); Trinity High School is planning on closing this morning. Three major Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) towers were destroyed which powers numerous Northern Coastal Communities. Continued threat to 115kV and 230kV powerlines and Keswick Dam is restricted to minimal electrical output due to damaged powerlines.

CA-LNF Whaleback Fire: 18,703 acres timber, brush, 100% contained. Minimal fire behavior. The fire will experience a return to hot and dry conditions starting today for rest of week. The community of Spalding Evacuation Order was rescinded. Residents only will be permitted to return. Lassen County Road A1 closures have been updated. South closure located near Eagle Lake Marina and north closure at Spalding Way. An area closure was implemented for BLM land NE of the fire and Lassen NF lands in the fire area.

OR-RSF Natchez Fire: 9,848 acres brush, timber, 35% contained. The fire is growing actively to the south and southeast. Westerly and terrain driven winds will prevail across the fire Monday afternoon pushing the fire closer to populated areas and associated infrastructure. Mandatory evacuations remain for California residences near South Fork Indian Creek. Evacuation warnings continue for Sunstar and areas in the the Indian Creek area along CR 7C001 (Grayback Rd.) north of CR 8C01. Powerlines in the fire area have been de-energized. Road and trail closures are in effect. There is a threat to private timber land and 69kV powerlines. Incident started on the Rogue River-Siskiyou NF and has burned onto the Klamath NF (approximately 5,339 acres). Yesterday at 0600 Northern Rockies Team 1 assumed command.

CA-AEU Bumper Fire: 67 acres brush and timber, 85% contained.

CA-SHU Carr Fire: 121,049 acres grass, oak woodland, timber, 35% contained. Reduced smoke cover over the southern portions of the incident has resulted in an increase in fire activity. Shifting winds combined with steep terrain and timber fuels has been contributing to spotting issues for crews. A fire weather watch has been issued in the fire area from Thursday evening to Saturday. Many communities in the fire area continue to be impacted. Re population orders continued today. Mary Lake subdivision was opened to residence only. The Iron Mountain Mine is being supported by the incident and being run under the direction of the EPA. Trinity Mountain Rd, Highway 299 and many other roads in the fire area remains closed. Power infrastructure continues to be threatened. Wildlife habitat and historic and cultural sites remain threatened as well.

CA-NEU Butte Fire: 900 acres grass, 20% contained. Threat to major telecommunications tower and 230kV and 500kV powerlines.

Mandatory evacuations exist in the greater Potter Valley area to the Mendocino & Lake County line as well as areas of Southern Lakeport to Hwy 29. Road closures are in effect for portions of CA-175, CA-20 and CA-29. Critical communication and infrastructure remains threatened. There is also a threat to the Lake County Jail, Sutter Lakeside Hospital, and nearby schools.

Current threats include commercial and residential properties in several communities including the Lake County Seat and Agriculture packing, processing,and production facilities. There is also a threat to communications and power infrastructure that support Lake and Mendocino Counties. Major transportation routes and Lake County jail and Sutter Lakeside Hospital.

River Fire: 9,000 acres grass and brush. Fire is located in steep inaccessable terrain, with extreme fire behavior and long range spotting. Numerous structures continue to be threatened with 2 confirmed destroyed. Additonal threats include high voltage powerlines, commercial wineries, BLM Cow Mountain Recreation Area, UC Hopland Research and Extension Center, tribal lands including the Sho Ko Wah Casino. Evacuations in place for unincorporated areas of Lakeport, west of Hwy 29 and north of highland and south Scott Valley

Ranch Fire: 5000 acres oak woodland, brush. Exteme fire behavior with long range spotting observed. Evacuations for Middle Creek, Bachelor Valley and Whittier (Lake Co).There are structures, communication towers and 115kV powerlines threatened.

There have been 15 residences and 2 commercial buildings destroyed. Numerous sail boats have been damaged or destroyed. There is also a threat to Keswick hydroelectric, Carr powerhouse, powerlines, historical sites and private timber. There is also a threat to the Western Area Power Administration, which powers numerous Northern Coastal Communities. Cal Fire IMT1 and Whiskeytown National Park are in unified command.
